Iverson charged with possession of marijuana and firearms
Former Georgetown star and last season’s NBA Rookie of the Year Allen Iverson was arrested on Interstate 64 outside of Talleysville, Va., and charged with drug and firearms possession by Virginia state police. Iverson and two other men, 32-year-old Maduro Earl Hill and 24-year-old Damon Stewart, both of Hampton, were pulled over for going 93 mph in a 65-mph zone on the interstate about 20 miles east of Richmond.
