Two in jail after troopers’ guns stolen
At least two guns stolen from a former West Virginia State Police trooper’s residence were recovered at the home of a man’s grandmother.
Joseph Patrick Perry, 23, was arraigned over the weekend on two felony counts of receiving and transferring stolen goods valued at more than $1,000.
Four days after the break-in, two other men were charged in the break-in of the former trooper’s home and Perry also was initially arrested that day on drug charges.
Perry was arraigned June 17 on charges of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance (methadone), possession of heroin and possession of marijuana.
A Drug offense is a very serious crime.
