Two men were arraigned on charges stemming from alleged involvement in the drug trade over the weekend in Martinsburg.

Marcus Lashawn Winfrey, 23, and Donte Ramone Watson, 21, were charged with conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance (crack cocaine), and Watson was charged with possession with intent to deliver it.Bags of crack cocaine were found in the left socks of each defendant.

Watson had $85 in cash in his possession and two bags of crack cocaine that weighed 1.4 grams.

The arrests came after the police officer watched the men engage in brief meetings with people who are known to be drug users.
