Two Smithsburg men were charged with drug offenses Thursday morning when Maryland State Police stopped their vehicle and allegedly saw them toss crack cocaine out one of the vehicle’s windows. James Alvin Robinson, 28, of 35B Water St. in Smithsburg, was charged with drug possession, possession with intent to distribute drugs, attempt to elude police and other traffic offenses, Washington County District Court documents state. Robinson is also known as James Woods, according to documents.
